Luggage Hook Mod for the Trunk - STOP SPILLING GROCERIES

Added a luggage hook from an Audi A4/S4 to the trunk of my FR-S. Sooooooo nice. No more driving like a gramma to keep from spilling groceries everywhere.

Shop. Pay. Hook bag. Drive like you stole it. :party0030:

Cool mod, any way you could list the steps or tips to add the hook? Where you drilled, didn't drill, removal of body panel, etc

I'll take a better pic showing position. It's basically centered right against a raised brace section. I just marked with a marker through the holes on the hook, drilled, and screwed.

It's a *solid* install and hook. Supports more weight than you would expect.

Hardest part is probably getting on your back in the trunk to see what you're doing.

Thanks for posting this up. I was going to do the same thing but you beat me to it. I had them on our VW and really liked them.

Available in many places but here's the first one I had in my bookmarks. $17

Cool idea! I always just ask for paper bags instead of plastic; they don't fly around nearly as much. Then I can use the paper bags to recycle newspapers and junkmail.

I got one of these for a previous Subaru and love it:

It's collapsible, handles enough groceries for a single guy like myself, and you can pull it out to carry everything inside in one haul. There are rubber feet on the bottom that help it stay in place for most driving maneuvers. I also have a ratchet set with velcro hooks on the bottom that helps keep this from sliding around too.

To bad I buy more then that hook can hold but I do like the idea maybe four hooks will work

The hooks are bigger than you think, and it's double sided. Generally if what I've bought doesn't fit on the hook, it fills the trunk enough that stuff doesn't slide around.
