First Houston86.com cruise

update:

Edit: Changing the dates to make the trip in daylight and more cost conscious.

We will be leaving at 8:00am Saturday December 1st and coming back Sunday December 2nd. I'm putting after lunch as the official end, but you are free to leave whenever.

The group's preferred Hotel will be posted soon, but feel free to book where you like.

The staging area is the same; HEB on Bunker Hill. We will be meeting there at 7:30am.

Lets head to Austin to explore the city and the hillside. Home of the University of Texas and great food. We can also meet up with the Austin 86 crowd.

Leaving Friday November 30th at 6:00pm for those who work that day and so we can be fresh on Saturday to hang out.

Y'all can go back anytime. We will head back as a group after lunch on Sunday.

The staging area is on HEB on Bunker Hill. Meet there at 5:30pm

Austin community: Any roads we should check out? Would y'all like to help us setup a Houston/Austin Meetup on Saturday?

Mount Bonnell & the roads around it are really great to ride on. Not really any cops & it's a great ride.

If I weren't already planning to be in Austin December 7-9, I would totally go from Dallas.

Hum, I get back from Nevada the day before. Leaving at 6pm has us driving there in the dark. Any chance of us leaving early Saturday morning?

Sent it to post_break earlier but hit up Lime Creek in NW Austin. Either tape up your front end or try not to follow close though. Maybe I'll see you guys at Cars and Coffee on Sunday. :)

Austin Trip

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to go on the trip this weekend. We had a waterline break in my house while we were out of town and it created a lot of damage. I'll be spending time with insurance adjusters and recovery crews instead! Hope y'all have a good time.
