EBC dimpled/slotted rotors installed
3 Attachment(s)
Hey guys,
Just installed new front EBC rotors, they are dimpled and slotted with black zinc. Easy installed, roughly 15-20 minutes. Looks great, the black zinc comes off right away but it leaves the dimples/slots black and the centre area is black which I like. Got them through a friend that works at a supplier in Toronto. |
I like it! It looks slick!

Got the same for the Lotus, but the slots and dimples aren't coated. @Tcoat says they are good quality.

Stock is generally fine for most people. I put stop tech lines on mine when it was < 1 year old and it was slightly better, but not really noticeable on the street that much. Just replaced the stop techs with Goodridge lines, they're definitely a higher quality line and the price was about the same. I only replaced mine because it sees enough track time to justify replacing the lines every couple years. The lines are different than what is pictured here: https://www.ft86motorsports.com/brak...-fr-s-brz.html They actually look like this: https://images.rallysportdirect.com/...goo_28003_cl_1 They have the curved hard portion of the banjo fitting on the rears just like the spiegler lines, and the tab that mounts to the rear knuckle or front strut has a nice solid extension to prevent the line from being pinched if it shifts around while tightening the bolt. |
