A few weeks ago I picked this set from a nasioc member:

ASA 18x7.5 40et, Dunlop winter tires. Tires are in good shape, I plastidipped the wheels. They will serve their purpose and don't look too hideous in my opinion. No clearance problems whatsoever.

Last week I picked these up:

5zigen fn01 18x8.5 48et in very nice shape. I'll install them in the spring with good sticky rubber. No clearance problems with the 225/40 tires, however there is only about 1/4 in. gap from wheel to front strut housing, very close, no way I could use 245/35 at the front. No such problems at the rear, there I could safely use 245. Maybe I'll do 225/40 front and 245/35 rear, we'll see in the spring.

Thanks for the ideas. So would it be possible to get approx pricing you paid for these and more importantly, pics showing how flush the wheels sit compared to the fenders.

Those 5zigens look pretty good, i think i saw the same set on eBay but the offsets are a little high for me. The Mach V wheel looks similar though if someone wanted something close. There are plenty of wheels out that are budget friendly; XXR, Enkei Performance series, Sparco Assetta's, TSW, etc.

I'll take more pics later with the winter set. The winter wheels are 18x7.5, not 17x7.5 as I wrote initially, I've since edited the post.
The price: well under $1,000 for 8 tires and 8 wheels, the 5zigen are very much in mint condition, the tires on them aren't so great even though they are barely used: Nexen N3000, there are better choices of course.

Thank you Darren for cleaning up my initial post.

Update, hope the pics show.
I lowered the little bugger about an inch, Hotchkis springs. The tires are Hankook V12, 225/40/18 front, 255/35/18 rear. No spacers, no rubbing, no issues. Now I've got some stick finally.

I am glad you are happy with your spring purchase. The 1 inch drop is the most ideal for these vehicles running a conventional spring setup. If you ever need any assistance feel free to give us a call. Thank you for your support.

Just picked up these wheels! Just thought I'd add to this thread if anyone else was curious.

Wow looks like a lot of negative camber. Wheels looks sweet though.

What's the make and specs on those wheels? Always liked five-spoke wheels.
