It depends on where the original owner bought the car from.
If the car was originally bought in Canada or Hawaii or anywhere outside of U.S., then I think Toyota of mainland U.S. won't honor the warranty. I'm not sure about Alaska.

My subaru dealer says there is a new revised TSB for the chirping effective April 2014. Are you able to post that one?

Can't speak for BRZs or the US but my dealer says that all prior TSBs for fuel pumps have been canceled. None of them did a thing anyway so they stopped pouring money into supporting a TSB that didn't fix the issue.

I have only had the chirping once and that was when I used a 95 ron E10 fuel. As soon I filled up with 98 ron chirping gone and that was 10k ago I was told it was a lubrication issue with the ethanol fuel.

OK, so let's not turn this into thread 4892 about what fuels/additives/voodoo magic that will or will not cause chirp!

Speaking of the cricket TSB.
The new one is still in effect, sent mine in for it today, they're replacing it with a newer part number fuel pump tomorrow. Will advise
