NEOH spotted

I saw a silver BRZ/FR-S drive by my house in Green, Ohio today. First time that has happened. I saw it in profile at speed from my garage so I could not make out if it was a Scion or a Subaru. Anyone on here want to claim it?

I know someone in that general area with an asphalt BRZ...not sure of his moniker on the forum though

Turns out I know the guy. He lives across the street from my old house which I still own. The car is a silver BRZ AT. I am surprised he opted for the auto because he is an old SCCA road racer and was a regional champion the year before he moved across the street. Now he has the BRZ in the garage and above it on a lift he has a 70 something Porsche 911 Carrera4 Targa.

I am in Akron, got a white brz, work with 2 other BRZ owners. I garage it on most cold snowy salty days out here,,... good to see that there are others near by.

Cool. The only white BRZ I have seen in Akron was sitting on the sales lot of Park Subaru on Arlington Rd. Did you happen to get that one?

In May, the Cleveland Cars and Coffee will start back up. It is on the first and third Saturday of the month. There are some FR-S and BRZ guys who attend. You and your co-workers should stop in if you like meeting good people, seeing lots of nice cars and BSing about them. Unfortunately, my MR-S and I will probably be living in Jacksonville by then so I will not make very many of the Cleveland meets.

If I see a white BRZ in Akron I will lay on the horn and wave like an idiot. During the winter I would be the guy driving the tan Cadillac CTS.

Enjoy.

Got it from Brunswick, I would be game for some meets.

Would love to meet up! Spring is around the corner.

Rampage 01-29-2013 07:03 PM

Tell me when it is as warm as it is today that you are not tempted to pull it out of the garage and take it for a spin. I spent the afternoon replacing a outer tie rod and the brakes all the way around on my Cadillac CTS. All the while, I kept looking over at the Spyder just sitting there begging for some attention. The roads are just too wet and I am sure there is still brine on them. Spring cannot come soon enough! But then I am heading to Jacksonville in the AM to look at houses. In a few weeks, Ohio weather won't matter as much to me.

Definitely will keep an eye out for you guys, and others. Seen a Firestorm FR-S in south Solon, looks like he was coming out of Twinsburg. There's a white Toyobaru that works in Solon as well, off of Cochran Road, seen it parked behind some shrubbery.

Saw a red FR-S waiting to make a left turn at the corner of Wales NW and Portage ST in Jackson Township last night. Anyone on here want to claim it?

That is the first red one that I have seen on the street.

I'm around the area sporadically when visiting my parents. Did not see any easter weekend.

Geauga Lake road is fun ;)

I love Geauga Lake road, though you have to be extremely careful on the one uphill switchback. I used to take that route to work when I worked at Sea World, almost got killed a few times.
