Blue BRZ Spotted in South Miami / Pinecrest

11/2 Spotted blue BRZ in South Miami / Pinecrest area, pulled up on front of my car in Old Cutler Rd. Not sure if member in here...

I think this car looks best in that color.

Could have been me, I'm down here most of the time for school and work. Is your IS250 that bright Lexus blue?

Hmmmmmm... so @jazztennor, probably this is the OTHER GBS BRZ you saw in Miami!

What dealer you got the car from? I got it from Pompano Beach Subaru

Devoe Subaru all the way up in Naples, took hold of it about 3 weeks ago.

So far, I've seen a red limited and a GBS premium around Pinecrest + old cutler, been pretty curious :D

Holy shit, another Subaru GBS!! And me thinking I was alone... We had a nice meet last Saturday, and it was 15 FRS's, only two BRZ's.

We need to get together, don't get lost and make it to the next meet. It was very nice. Look at the Miami area thread.

Alright, I'll sub it in a second. Is your BRZ still mostly stock? I don't want to get all embarrassed running 100% factory parts next to yours if you've got a little something under the hood :)

Only an exhaust and a lightweight pulley

What I REALLY want to see is a WRB BRZ!

Yeah that's me, I gave in on the IS after dealing with some crappy dealers in Miami, and did not want to wait for the BRZ/FR-S after that. If I did get the BRZ it would have been in that color, maybe in the future.

Take good care of that car :) If I see you again I'll say hi

How's the pulley? I'm assuming it's a Perrin? Did you do the install yourself? I'm VERY interested. Also, what exhaust do you have?

It looks great! I could imagine the dealer service. Every encounter I've had with a Miami Toyta dealership has been pretty shoddy to say the least. Anyway, grats on the car! If you get a BRZ in the future, it'll probably have come a long way by then, so get ready for some goodies :D

Did you get a manual or auto? I had a manual SE-R and I just cannot stand driving manual in Miami, at least not on weekdays' rush hour... All my cars from now on will probably be Auto.

Yes, it's the Perrin Pulley. I installed it myself. Very easy install. The only disclaimer is if you have an auto, a special tool is needed to keep the motor from turning. Manual does not need it. The difference is not earth shattering, but it IS noticeable. The car Revs "happier". The exhaust is Nameless Exhaust. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The tone is amazing, the increase in HP is noticeable, it is hand made in USA and lastly the quality is unrivaled. We can get together so you can see it maybe tomorrow, or something. (They have a groupbuy code going that will net you $50 off, it is groupbuyfrs).

I have had manual cars all my life. Made the mistake of purchasing my previous car Auto.... What a mistake! In less than 3 months I could not wait to get back to a manual. YMMV.

I've got an auto. I'm not exactly ashamed because it's easily the best auto transmission I've ever driven, but I do feel a little guilty. Though, for a while I was forced to drive a 5 speed Suzuki Samurai with a Vortech swap, and I'd have to agree with you; it was hell. My commute is terrible in a manual, but I have a little NA Miata project in my future that'll satisfy my manual craving.

I'd love to meet up and see it sometime, I'm having a hard time choosing. My schedule is no good for this weekend, though. I've got the autoshow + work + mundane errands etc. But I'll let you know in the near future for sure.
