Anybody Have Zero Issues?

I have a deposit down, but am getting really ambivalent about the FR-S because of all the issues being reported. I'm considering getting a "place-holder" car, waiting a year or two while Scion/Toyota iron out the twins' issues, and then making the leap if that happens. I'd like to hear from actual owners who aren't unhappy with their purchase. And I don't want to hear "if you're not 100% committed, then go elsewhere." Only thing I'm committed to is cocktail hour at 5:00.

Idle issue .. other than that my car has been perfect. 6500 miles in.

No real complaints. This car is FUN.

I only have about 1200 miles, but zero issues so far.

almost at 3000 km. nothing worth going to the dealer yet!

Other than the manufacturer defect (which mine is the only reported one on earth) no issues. I am confident that these cars are going to be good / reliable with high miles.

I have about 6500 miles so far.

I have about 1800 miles. Had the fuel pump chirping for a bit which went completely away once I switched to ethanol-free 93 octane fuel (as recommended by the OEM). So no issues, essentially.

who offers it without ethanol? all the places near me have the 10% ethanol sign on their pumps.

All the British Petroleum stations near my house are ethanol-free.

I haven't had any significant problems, slight idle roughness when decelerating at low speeds as most have mentioned.

I'm curious as to what places actually offer non-ethanol blends, Racetrac, quicktrip don't that I know of. Think some people have mentioned Shell might? Need to do some forum searching as this has been mentioned

None whatsoever, at about 4000 km.

tnt 11-08-2012 12:53 PM

0 issues here ..... and mine has some mods - injen intake, catback, wheels/tires/eibach sportsline drop

ks22732 11-08-2012 12:54 PM

Other than the notchy 2nd gear in the morning when it's cold, absolutely no issues

ApoNono 11-08-2012 12:55 PM

1200 miles and nothing yet.

I got a little moisture in the taillights when I washed it last weekend but it burned out really quick. Not going to call that an issue until I see if it is common every time I wash it / it gets rained on.

B_Rad 11-08-2012 12:58 PM

I have just over 2k and have had no issues yet. A big thing to remember on forums/message boards is that the problems are always magnified due to the fact people dont complain about no issues. We have an 06 xA and an 06 xB both with around 75k on them and have yet to have any issues with them even with them both being modded.
