Rattle When Braking Between ~25-17mph
 

I just passed 1,000 miles and noticed a rattle between 25-17 mph when braking in neutral. Has anybody else experiences this issues? What could it? I'd appreciate any links, advice, ideas!

I hear this noise also. I reported it to my service manager when I took the car for CEL issues. They said there was nothing to worry about.

I know, right? but it's intermittent, and only when slowing down in neutral. I notice the noise specifically at 26mph. It's very pronounced, happens for a few seconds, then stops. Sounds like it's coming from the clutch/flywheel area.

That's exactly it, I find that the point at which it rattles depends on how quickly I'm decelerating. It does not inspire confidence that's for sure.

I was wondering if it had something to do with the lockout for reverse? Could be completely unrelated but just postulation.

There have been a couple posts about it...I even posted a question about it somewhere in here titled "clutch chatter"...I was told by the lovely folks on here that it is normal and nothing to worry about.

I'be noticed the same sound coming from my car as well. It happens when I start braking in neutral at anything over 1000rpm.

I have the same thing. Sounds like throw out bearing for me. I think the NVH guys were on vacation for the entire vehicle program.

I also have a rattle and the last time my BRZ was "fixed" it didn't pop up for 2 days now it's back
