FA20CLUB.COM ECUTEK TUNE

Well it's been a month or so since Tony put the original tune on my car and since then I have added a K&N drop in filter and the Greddy EVO3 exhaust. So I went be is shop this morning and ran multiple dynos with Tony fine tuning. As we went on, he came up with some pretty good numbers when all was said and done. Our last run came out around 156 whp and 127 torque. Keep in mind that he runs on a Mustang dyno so numbers are probably a good 10-15% lower than the dynojet. Tony as always is a pleasure to work with and continues to impress me as a acomondating tuner. FA20CLUB has some very interesting setups coming really soon so stay tuned.

Dyno below.

Glad to hear it, very good numbers for a mustang dyno (171-179whp on a dynojet for those too lazy to do the math). He's been working with me by email and I'm very happy with my STG2 and we're still working on my E85. Unlike that other thread where every other post is someone missing their license for 2 months, my experience was the opposite. If you are reading this thread and trying to decide which tune to go with, at least know the customer service from FA20club is awesome, highly recommended.

Speaking of which, time to head out to do some datalogging soon.

+1 great guys to work with, excellent customer service, especially compared to the tuning competition! Wish I was closer to their shop!

What intakes does FA20 currently offer tunes for?

FA20Club is super easy to work with, which is why we promote their work, as well. :)

I can't answer that specifically but I can tell you he had a base tune for the mods I had and then sent revised ones based on the logs I sent back. It was well worth the effort as the custom tunes are definitely improvements over the base. He has worked tirelessly sending me updates to my E85 tune to get it right despite the high altitude and 25 degree temp swings this time of year making it hard for me to give apples to apples logs. The thing that has made me really appreciate this is after all these tune updates, he is still offering to keep going to make it better rather than come back and say that's all you get for what you paid. Obviously customer satisfaction is high on the list so I pay it back with good reviews.

Yea, the only reason I ask is the MAF curve changes based on it's location and piping size.

ABQautoxer 11-09-2012 11:19 AM

Understood. I've seen some of the locations and diameter differences as I was debating which intake to put on my car, I have one on order now. Mine was easier since in the stock location with just a drop-in at this point. I have seen people with various intakes reporting happiness with the STG2 and some of them came from the other tuner. YMMV.

I have the Stage 2 FA20Club tune also without an intake, did some datalogs and sent to Toni and got a new file tonight. We definitely hit the sweet spot i can feel a difference for sure after the updates. Great service and excellent performance.

We can get you setup with a Tune for almost any intake some are easier to work with but we are sure we can maximize whatever you might already have on your car. If you want give us a call tomorrow and I can go over your options.
