Foam guns

Where do you all recommend buying one that I can hook up to a regular garden hose? Also does anyone have any experience with this polisher? http://www.harborfreight.com/6-varia...her-69924.html

I bought a foam gun from autogeek.net and it's worked fine. It comes with a quick detach connector so you can use the sprayer alone to rinse without having to shut off the water and change sprayers. As for a DA polisher, I would stick with the more proven brands such as Porter Cable or Griot's Garage. I went with the GG for their warranty and have been very happy with it.

Which gun did you buy from there? They have tons of them...different brands with different reservoir sizes, etc. I just need one that holds enough to wash the car.

'gilmour' makes the foam gun for garden hoses. you can find them cheaper on amazon I believe by searching by the brand name.

as for the polisher, save up a few more bucks and get either the griots 6inch or the PC. Holidays are coming, which means big sales. Plus griots is releasing a new improved 6inch polisher, meaning the older ones will likely be marked down

I bought the Blackfire Quart Foamaster Foam gun. It holds more than enough to wash a car. A lot of them are all the same product, just with a different brand sticker on it.

Gilmour has two different foam guns. The better of the two is the one with the brass fittings instead of plastic. If you search "foammaster" on autogeek.net you'll see a bunch of different foam guns but pretty sure they are all made by Gilmour and just rebranded.

or just google 75QCFMR or 75HGFMR if you want quart or 1/2 gallon size respectively

I purchased the Gilmour 95QGFMR Foamaster II Cleaning Sprayer from Amazon for $39 bucks. Great product so far, but make sure you have decent water pressure.
