Caring for window tint

How do y'all take care of your window tint? What do you use to clean it with?

A regular car wash should be fine. But theres solution if your looking to clean the glass that say tint safe.

I use Invisible Glass cleaner. You can use whatever you want, but make sure it doesn't contain ammonia as that will damage the tint.

I use Invisible Glass too. It works great with microfiber towels. No ammonia.

quick question, what did you guys do after getting the tint to prevent the window from moving when you open the door the first couple days?

My tint guys said they locked in the bottom portion with a little bit of heat and tucked the tint under the molding. He said a lot of the newer BMW's have the windows that roll down like that so they were used to it.

If your tint guy doesn't know how to deal with it I'd think about looking for a new guy.

Just got my car tinted this morning. Was looking at it just now and noticed some condensation in the rear window between the tint and the glass. Anything to worry about?

Give a few days, normally they disappear after awhile, if it doesn't ,bring it back.
