the pearl in the whiteout...

in person is it more noticable? in pictures it seems like it needs the right lighting conditions to make it visible. some pics make it look flat white, some are very pearlescent. in person, does it look more pearl like?

Giccin 11-07-2012 01:46 PM

After looking at it... it looks SLIGHTLY dull white.

id like to hear from the people who own it and see it every day.

Pictures don't do justice. When the sun shines on it, it's gorgeous..but sometimes, it's like you have to be looking for the pearls to find it

Yes, the pearl is definitely noticeable especially if the car is clean. I love the colour and own a whiteout myself.

Yes the sun needs to shine on it. In the night with a lot of street lamps it looks creamy...also on overcast days. In my garage it just looks white

I have one. I look at it almost everyday ( garaged for the winter). Pictures do not do it justice. It looks relatively the same as Toyota's alpine white in pictures. In the light or sun and in person is the best. when light rolls over it it glistens which is an effect you can't get in pics.

yes the pearl is extremely noticeable. the color is something that ppl point out whenever they see my car. the white is more of an "off-white" color but slightly transforms under diffferent light. It is full of depth and varies throughout the entire car depending on the direction of light too.

Yes, it is very noticeable. I get tons of compliments on it.

i think that is exactly what is missing through pics and probably makes the pear effect the most noticable. nice.

It must also be clean. I washed my car after neglecting it for a few weeks, and it was down right sparkly seeming.

You must see it in person.

Guff 11-07-2012 03:34 PM

It sparkles in the sunlight like Edward Cullen.

100% dependant on light.

Cloudy day = almost matte white
Sunny day = super pearly

Compare it to the Lexus pearl white, it's very similar.

If there is a direct light source hitting it or in bright lighting, the pearl sparkles. I like it since the pearl creates contrast and helps bring out the body lines of the car more.
