Nice writeup. First week i got my BRZ, I took an afternoon off work and spent 3 hours driving it in the canyons and coastline around Malibu. No where to go, no place to be, time on my side. Push the car, cruise the car, just really ENJOY the car.

Great photography in the article. Also agree with the author on this car being about back-to-basics driving fun. I'm actually smiling thinking about my drive home tonight.

Good reading.

I traded a '02 Miata in for my FR-S less than 2 months ago. It had 38,000 miles on it. Do the math, 10 years = 3,800 miles a year. I'm retired and I only drove the Miata if and when I needed to go someplace. I bought my FR-S on 9-18 and I'm about a week away from turning 3,000 miles. There hasn't been a day since 9-18 that I haven't driven it at least once and sometimes multiple times. I can't recall ever being this excited about a car.
