T1R 70R Sparrow (DUAL) Exhaust prototype !

Hi Everyone,

Introducing our T1R 70R Sparrow Exhaust for 13+ Scion/Subaru FRS/BRZ.

The exhaust is built with 70mm (2.75") pipe splitted into 63mm (2.5"). The reason we used 70mm because we have built a 63mm (2.5") system and it didn't show any gains. It's highly recommended for stock, modded or FI setup

Full exhaust is made out of stainless with 45 degree split into dual. 45 degree bend gives much better flow over 90 degree, also we tried to avoid bends as much as possible ! Before the split, we tried to center the exhaust so when it splits, both sides will have even exhaust flow for better sound !

The exhaust weighs about 32-34 lbs, it is a bit heavy when you compare to any other 2.5" exhaust on the market. The 70mm pipes made the exhaust a bit heavier but you get more out of it.

Here's are the pics !

Another thing is, the exhaust tips on our production model will not be same as the prototype, it will look like the one below !

prices on the ti-tipped catback available yet? need testers?

AJ PwR 11-07-2012 02:15 PM

There will be no true titanium tip on our exhaust. We only offer them in anodized gradient finish on stainless like the picture shown on the tip.

Pricing will be available soon !

really wanted to check out the single v2 but missed ya at the meet we had since I totally forgot about it

interested in seeing what a slightly large exhaust will do and also interesting to see that you saw no gains from 2.5 were other vendors have. either way can't wait for dyno and sound clip

If the gains are good then how about a matching front pipe

It's quite a surprise for us too but the 2.5" prototype that we built was a different design and we have dynoed it and it made like 1-2whp so I consider it as almost no gains. What we figured was, there were too many 90 degree bends along the pipes and inside the muffler so that kills all the power.

Here's a pic of it.

Actually they are in production now. I have tested them along with the 70R single exhaust but now just waiting to get it dyno with the DUAL.

So the catback + frontpipe will mate up to say AVO's turbo system and you will have a full 2.75" exhaust system?

Makes me wonder what a full 3" would yield in a NA application then

Are there any plans for this in the future?

We will be offering 2.5" and 2.75" front pipe so the 2.5" will launch fist and the 2.75" will be right after.

If you guys made a 3" single exhaust that bolts up to stock header, I would buy it.
