Perrin Pulley

I finished installing my pulley. At idle(600-700rpm) the pulley wobbles a little bit but when its above 1000 rpm its good. Im not expecting it to be stationary and simply spin but just wanted to know if other people who installed the pulley get the same result as me.

If someone can do me a favour and let me know if theres wobbles around idle. Thanks

no wobble here

^so it should be stationary at all times?

It should not wobble. Get that checked out before you end up with catastrophic engine failure.

The stock pulley shouldn't be wobbling either. Can you guys post a video showing this wobble?

brichard0625 11-06-2012 10:38 AM

when i get a chance ill try and take a vid...its not really wobbling...its more a little bounce

ArKiTeCkT 11-06-2012 10:43 AM

Everything is torqued properly, the wobble is the cause of the engine slightly wobbling

Silverdub 11-06-2012 10:55 AM

did you guys line up the pin in the crank with the hole in the pulley?

You removed it? I lined up the pin and everything. But i just freaked out when it was "bouncing".

brichard0625 11-06-2012 12:57 PM

yea i put the stock one back on and it moves the same. i've seen other people with perrin pulleys and stock pulleys and none of them were perfectly still..they all have a little bounce to them. its shouldnt be going crazy but its has a little "vibration" to it
