Cell Phone Provider
I know this isn't car related, but I wanted to see who people in the northeast have for their cell phone provider. I'm thinking about switching to US Cellular from Verizon.
|
They're all crap. But I have T-Mobile.
|
I like Verizon, and if you ever have a problem just walk into one of their stores and they can fix anything right there.
|
I have Verizon but I want a smartphone and they don't offer unlimited data so I might be stuck with sprint.
From my experience service is Verizon -> Sprint -> AT&T Haven't experience t mobile or us cellular. Years ago my impression was T mobile was a joke, don't know if they improved? |
I've had Sprint for 8+ years and haven't had any issues that they couldn't fix. A little know fact between Sprint and Verizon is that they share networks for roaming. As far as I know both also offer free roaming in their plans.
That said, I pay 133$ for two smartphone lines. 1500 shared "anytime" minutes to landlines (M-F, 7am-7pm)... unlimited minutes/data/4g for everything else. And I swear Verizon/AT&T have panels dedicated to finding ways to milk/screw it's customers. It seems every other month I read something about anti-consumer policy changes from either of those two... sad, really. |

Such decisions. |
AT&T here. Didn't work so great on the Kanc. :paddle:

I'm not really sure I need unlimited data either, but the thought just aggravates me. I'm somewhat locked into Verizon because of my company's BYOD restrictions. |

I've used 2GB in a day before with tethering, but I now average around 2.5-3 for a month. I'm sure that will go up slightly now that I tether my head unit to the phone. |
