Subaru Badge?

Are the Subaru badges the same size as Imprezas? If not, where can I buy some Subaru badges that fit the 86?

Yes, I'm going to take my Scion badges off and put Subaru badges, before you ask.

I don't care what you do but that GIF of Clint Eastwood is f**kin' hilarious! I'm pretty sure they're the same size, dude.

I'm a BRZ guy -- so this thread makes me sad:cry:

I agree completely.

Probably different since impreza ones have concave inside - for 2004-2007 imprezas, not sure for newer model

You could try finding the part numbers for both badges and compare if they're the same.

Owners in Japan are rebadging their RHD 86s with "Scion" and "FR-S" badges. My buddy badged his BRZ trunk with the Toyota "T" and "TOYOTA" badge off to the left. I wouldn't do that to mine but if he's happy that's what it's all about.

How do I go about finding the part numbers?

Call a Subaru parts department.

Hey dude bought the car he can staple a Cadillac badge to it for all I care.

Freak people out and paste a Porsche Turbo badge to it. That'll keep 'em guessing!

I am trying to think what happen when you take it to service...the dealer may say " Subaru dealer is down the street..." or "sorry for the CEL because now you should take the car to Subaru..." just kidding.

pinoyplaya 11-04-2012 11:11 PM

I was actually thinking of putting the Ferrari badge on mine.... haha

I go to a Subaru dealership anyway, haha. I used to have an STi, so I'm friends a few of the service guys over there. :P
