The hell is the noise generator thing I keep hearing about and wtf is its actual function...

It's the tube coming off the intake going to the left of the engine bay and into the cabin. It pipes intake/engine noise into the cabin.

its quite a lot of tubing actually and removing it cleans up the engine bay nicely. plus, once you get an aftermarket exhaust its then next to useless as you wont be really able to hear it over the exhaust.

I thought maybe it had a purpose other then to make noise... That's annoying

I may be one of the few, but I like the sound. Granted, I haven't put my exhaust on yet, but I love the growl the engine makes with the help of the noise plumbed into the cabin.

I'll keep mine until I get an exhaust.. afterwards I think I'll delete it.. I'm a minimialist.. I dont want anything thats not needed..

It makes up for how quiet our stock little engine/exhaust is... XD

its just a trick they borrowed from the LFA.
