what is a good price for an at brz at this moment?

i'm currently shopping around and so far i've seen +2-5k markup on the car and the msrp for a limited is around 29.7k so i'm guessing either msrp or lower is what i should be looking at.

I'm in the socal area and i'm not quite sure which subaru is the one to go to if i'm looking for good service.

So far i've only been to the irvine one and they gave me the price of
$32,968.00 plus tax and license fees for a limited white at.

Get it from an out of state dealership at msrp or below.

MSRP is a good price to pay, as in, no markups. If you can't get one in Cali at MSRP (as seems to be the case) you could always ship a car from out of state. There's plenty BRZ's up here in New England and some dealers are even offering discounts from MSRP! Probably costs $1,500 to $2,000 to ship one.

How long ago did you see the limited white auto in irvine?

You could always wait and buy a slightly used one (less than 5k miles).

check out the thread in my sig if you are interested in buying a car outside of CA and bringing it in... there are plusses and minuses to be aware of.

Crazy, the markup in some US states for ONCE makes these cars more expensive to buy vs buying in Canada. Basically every dealer here is selling for MSRP (I was able to get $500 below and tint thrown in...not much but something). As others have said, try to get out of state although I don't know the issues bringing an out of state car into CA.

if that's OTD pricing then that is reasonable, depending on how high your sales tax is

That's not OTD price, in Cali, it's about +10% for OTD

Try calling up Kearny Mesa Subaru in San Diego. I got my Limited there last week for MSRP, but they did force their popular package B on me which came out to a little more than 28k before tax.
