After watching this... I really don't know what to say; I am completely lost for words. :eyebulge:

Its just over-glorified news castings that make things seem 10x worse.
Its how they get money, people see something they worry about, so they worry about it more and watch more news to be "informed".
As someone who was impacted by Hurricane Sandy, its defiantly not the end of the world.

It was for at least 100 people.

It was barely a cat 1, the problem was that it merged with a winter storm.

These natural events happen all the time. Its just we have more and more cameras and more and more media and more and more cities around the world. Stop freaking out. You'll die when you die. Stop being scared and live your damn life.

I agree with you; these events do happen all over the world every day.

BUT, seeing things that DO NOT normally happen in an area is questionable.

Just food for thought...

My home town is mentioned on that video. Adelaide, Australia where it snowed a day after of temps over 32 C (90 F). It only snowed in very remote areas that are on the tallest peaks around the city.
It was cold that day, but I didn't even have frost on my car.
The media just made it sound like it was so much more.

Put it this way. I have never, ever seen snow. Once every few years we get some on Mt Lofty.

there is a recorded millibar reading within 0.01 of Sandy...the storm pressure reading is your "horspower #" so within the last hundred years a storm of almost the same "HP/TQ" hit the sam area and had a storm swell (caused almost ALL the damage) second in height to sandy... too many people confuse cyclical Meterology with "global climate change" (can't call it global warming cause it stopped doing that tooo ;-), ) because we have not seen this in the last 20 years. When the Pacific heats up and the atlantic cools the east coast starts getting hit by strong storms.

Like all these thoughts my considered opinion worth what all opinions cost you..lol ymmv.

Too bad what the Mayans thought was the end of the world already happened.

They never had leap year in their calendar, so with the extra day we get every leap year, what the Mayans thought was 12/21/12, actually already happened.

Hmm, interesting video.

Didn't know about that Comet coming next year as well a few events I missed.

Come on now, let's let natural selection work through "special kool-aid" in December :)
