Hey guys,

This is my second post here, after my introduction earlier..
I currently run an automotive blog and a while ago, The first GT86 has arrived to Jordan and we were able to have our hands on it.

we took a few photos and wrote a whole review for the car, you can check out the rest of the pictures here:
http://www.ammaniv12.com/2012/11/dri...cion-fr-s.html

I'd really appreciate it if you have any comments about this

p.s: While we were driving one of the cars, "Check Engine" came on and we couldn't tell why? we left it to cool for a while and it went back off
but on the other white GT86 it was on all the time .. is there a manufacturing fault known for it?

Take it to a dealer, 99% of these are from software, and an ECU flash fixes it.

Hey man, Gave them a call and told them about it.. was surprised they weren't familiar with this

I've also checked a few other topics here and there and it seems to be a major fault with alot of cars

Few people had MAJOR issues, but CEL issues and other kinks are quite common... The ECU is pretty complex in this car, so its not a surprise for a first model year like this to have some kinda software problem.. luckily most of the issues are easy fixes.

The difference with that is the GT-R's launch control was being abused. The GT86 problem exist without abuse.
