Custom turn signals?
 

I would really like to totally remove or mesh over the front grill and inlets (where the FR-S turn signal is). I want them to look like scoops. Not digging the ones with the break cooling. I would prefer if there was a headlight assembly with the turn signals in them. I do want these to be safe (yes I do use my turn signals unlike everyone else in Houston!). Legally, should be fine here.

I am wondering if it would be possible to replace the turn signals with an LED strip somewhat like the pic above.

Thoughts, suggestions, things to consider?

Would this be street-legal though? They look a bit small and thin for practical use on the street.

I don't necessarily want to do that, but something like that. Houston seems to be pretty leaneant with car mods. I am pretty sure an LED strip like that would be effective.
