West TN
I know there is a thread for Nashville, but im 2 1/2 hours away.
anyone in the Memphis area. I know there are at least 3 FRS in Jackson TN, but i have not seen them log in here. |
I live in the Atoka area, about 30 minutes north of Memphis. I'm actually on my way back to the area right now after purchasing my BRZ from a dealer in New Hampshire.
I've only seen one 86 on the road anywhere near Memphis, a white one in Munford. I was in line at the McDonald's drive thru about a month ago when it passed by on the road. I wasn't close enough to be able to see the badging or the vehicle's front end, so I am unsure if it was a BRZ or FR-S. It didn't have a spoiler on it. |
i know for a fact there are 2 frs where i live, but i have seen no one joined.

There are 6 or 7 FRS's in Memphis I think. I've seen 2 in Jackson. I'm from Jackson but I'm currently living in downtown Memphis for graduate school. I have a WRB limited 6 speed BRZ. CaptainKill, which dealership did you buy from in NH? That's exactly what I did! I got mine in early July from Manchester Subaru in Manchester, NH. My dad and I flew up there and drove it back for 24 hrs straight. njccmd2002, where in Jackson do you live? We need to meet up. I was on a rotation at Jackson General this summer and people said they saw a white one in the employee garage. Was that you? I'll be home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so hopefully we can get together. The guys in Memphis are fairly active and hopefully we'll have a meet-up soon.

cool, well meet up..

I have a WRB Limited 6MT as well. Got it in June. I live in GA but will be visiting Jackson, TN, next week (Nov. 12 through 14). Unfortunately I will be driving a rental car since the reason for my trip is business, not leisure.

wow i guess this area is dead!!

Yeah, doesn't seem to be much happening in West TN section.... I haven't checked in since my last post.
I got mine from Subaru of Keene, I brought my wife and son. We flew into Manchester and the dealer sent someone to pick us up. Airport to dealership took about 90 minutes. We were expecting a really cramped ride back, but with the seats adjusted, my son can sit behind my wife with leg room to spare. I still haven't seen any 86s on the road in this area except the mystery white one that I saw in Munford a couple of months ago. |
