bodyshop around boston?
Hey,
So I need some repairs done to the fender/bumper/light after I got clipped. A bunch of coworkers stressed that it'd be best to have work done at a body shop that specializes in the car (or at least brand). So... does anyone know of a good bodyshop for the BRZ? Thanks! |
I've been very happy with the work done by Sublime Restorations in Rowley. I've had a few body panels painted and repaired by them, and had clear bra installed in my BRZ there. I wouldn't worry too much about finding someone that specializes in Subarus or the BRZ. Sublime usually has a handful of exotics going through the shop. Lots of BMWs and MINIs and there's usually one or more Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche cars there. Saw an NSX last time, too.

I have had luck with 2 body shops in Rhode Island which may be farther then you want to drive but I will throw them out there.
Inskip Collision its owned by Penske I use to work for their Mercedes Dealership and they deal with all cars but handle the body work for all of the Inskip dealerships (Lexus, Infinity, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Mini, Bently, Acura, Nissian) I have taken my wifes car there and they warranty the work for life. They can be a little on the expensive end because they don't take shortcuts like blending bumpers or painting them on the car. Providence Auto Body I have had work done to my car there and they are are the same way very professional and don't cut corners. |
Rain, how far from Boston are you willing to travel?

I'd prefer closer rather than farther. A friend recommended a place called Boyles Body Works in Arlington. I'd like to stay relatively close so it's not difficult to go home after dropping off the car (or going to pick it up). Plus when I turn left something is scraping on front right wheel...

Take this as just anecdotal evidence. My friend who lives in Everett likes going to Vivid Touch in Malden. I've also seen some good work come out of Century Auto Body on Eastern Ave in Malden. I can't really make any solid suggestions as auto body is more of a craft and it really comes down to the guy working on the car.
Good luck in your search! |
