Install Document Plate Light DIY:

1. Pop the trunk
2. Locate the Plate bulbs on the trunk lid on the inside
3. Turn the connector clock-wise to release the connector
4. Pull the bulb directly out of the socket.
5. Insert the new bulbs directly into the socket.

6. Turn on lights to verify polarity is correct and bulbs illuminate
7. If bulbs do not illuminate, remove bulb and flip connector and try again.

8. Re-insert connector and turn connector counter-clockwise until it snaps securing into place.

1. Open Hood
2. Secure Prop Rod
3. Locate DRL/High Beam Connector
4. Right side turn connector counter clock wise to release.

5. Unclip OEM Bulb From Harness. (Do not touch Bulb)
6. Safely grab the LED bulb and clip into harness.

7. Insert back into socket and turn counter-clockwise until it clicks into place.

Euro Concept HID Install:

According to Ken the ballasts are made in the same factory in Germany as the Phillips HID kit. Now whether the components are Chinese or not is another issue. However quality is excellent. Bulbs get up to full brightness in about 15-20 seconds in cold weather. The hum from the ballasts are not noticeable in car or with the hood closed. The 6000k bulbs included have a blue cast to it. Those who prefer a white light should choose 5000k. The kit is totally plug and play, no drilling, cutting or splicing. Which is what I wanted in case I have issues down the road.

2 Ballasts.
Bag of zipties
2 3M adhesive pads for ballasts.
All plug and play wiring.
2 HID bulbs

1. Open Hood/Turn off vehicle with lights off

2. Use Prop Rod to Secure Hood.

3. Locate Low Beam Connectors

4. Turn connectors counter clockwise to remove

5. Use extra caution not to touch bulb

6. Unclip the bulb from the connector and set in safe place.

7. Layout kit and connect loose connector that is closest to HID bulb to factory wiring. (Where OEM Bulb Connected to)

8. Next take the two remaining connectors on the HID harness and connect them. You will have to reverse the polarity of the connector. As Toyota has the wiring different. Just flip the connector so the positive and negative are switched.

9. Turn on the headlamps from inside the car. If the lamp does not light, turn off lights and switch the connector

10. Once you get the HID to illuminate, TURN OFF LIGHTS! It is safe to remove the protective cap on the bulb. You will need to disconnect all the wiring to remove safely. (See Video)

11. After removing the protective cover be extra careful never to touch the bulb. After all wiring is reconnected, double check that HID bulb still illuminates when you turn on lights.

12. After you know the bulb works, insert the bulb into Headlamp socket and secure the bulb counter clockwise.

13. Tape all connectors with electrical tape to prevent any issues down the road.

14. Repeat install on other side, being careful not to touch bulb and checking HID before final install.

15. Route wiring harness using your favorite cable management.

Do you lose function of the high beam if you install the led drl?

Yes.
When you activate the brights the LED DRL gets brighter but nothing near the output of the halogen bright bulbs.

I would not have used them if I did not do the HID kit.

How much did it all cost in total?
