New owner in Whitehall/Allentown

Purchased a 13 FR-S over the weekend. Amazingly, it was pre-owned. In fact, this stealership (Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield, PA) had TWO used FR-S's, a red one, and a black one. They also had a new white one, but it was an automatic (bleh).

I test-drove the black one, and it was o-k, but the tranny didn't feel 100% down-shifting into first or upshifting into second.

The red one felt like a million bucks, and even though it had two very minor dings and a couple scratches under the front splitter, I bought it anyway.

Call it impatience. . call it whatever. . I dunno. . I wanted a 6MT and white, red, or asphalt were all I was really interested in.

I HOPE HOPE HOPE I didn't make a mistake not being patient and ordering new or holding out for one to show up in an acceptable color at a dealer within reasonable driving range.

Anybody familiar with a red manual FR-S from Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield?

Radio boot-message was customized to read: "Alan's FR-S", which I promptly changed.

Anyway, Hi :)

I'll do that. I saw a white one at target last week over in the airport center. . Friday I think.

Hopefully I'm not too old to fit in somewhere. I keep hearing about how Toyota wanted a car that "young people" could afford to get into and would want to drive bla bla bla. No idea what their idea of "young people" is, but I'm 34 and this car is an effing blast :P

Never to old to love cars and love being behind the wheel of one. Marketers need to put labels on their products and "affordable" is definitely one and Scion claims to market towards "youth" which is just another label. That white FR-S is on here and he was the one who set up the lehigh valley run. Everyone I've met on here are good people. Maybe they should market that..."a good peoples car"
