It only costs ~$1500-2k to transport a car from New England, jussayin'

I have to say, that's why I love my Scion. 1k off for new college grad pricing, 2.4% financing, and I got it with no markups or effort 6 weeks after ordering? Not disappointed.

You have to really love those hides and seat heaters. I feel for you though, that markup is obnoxious.

Zadkiel 10-29-2012 11:07 PM

Markups should be done with soon. Cars are getting out to people. I bought mine off the lot with 7 miles for MSRP.

Jayde 10-29-2012 11:14 PM

Can't believe there is still markup on these...

diirk 10-29-2012 11:50 PM

I was a little surprised by the markup. There was none on mine. I wouldn't have paid it.

Just sold a cancelled order for $2600 over today. The demand is still here. I'm seeing more non enthusiasts day by day.

What's even worse, IMHO, is that they wrote the mark-up with shitty penmanship. They should have at least typed that shit in. Be more professional.

That was my first reaction too!

No different than the Rafferty a-holes near me.

diirk 10-30-2012 10:52 AM

Yeah. This is a small Suby dealer. They always mark everything up. I don't know if they sell like that. It's a nice car for sure. If it was there 2 months ago, I would have been negotiating on it. Still, for someone in the area looking, it's worth a call to see if they're willing to deal. I know it's been there at least a week which is an eternity in BRZ time.....
