Unlucky Sunday Totaled Car

So.. my bf was taking me home from his place... and a honda accord with a driver who wasn't looking at the road decided to rear end us.

Our fit is pretty much.. totaled it seems.

My back hurts. My bf's legs hurt.

All because the accord driver turned his entire body around to talk to his brother and not look at the road.

Ahhh, that'll buff out.

Sorry to see it. Glad you're alright though.

Lol.. Just go inside and just hammer it out ya know.. throw some wax on there.. shit'll be fine!

We're hoping it's considered a total loss so we can pick up a new vehicle.

Sorry to hear of your crash, hopefully you and your bf feel better. If not, sue the crap out of the moron that ran into you.

I hear ya on hoping it gets totaled; a car brought back from serious damage will never be the same.

Yea it was on Bushard.

Edit: BTW it looked worse in person. None of the doors would open and inside things were a mess.

i hope your ok :(
i dunno how it is there but here, that is a complete writeoff. the chassis looks way too damaged to actualy salvage.

Couldn't open any of the doors except the driver's door. Good thing we didn't shove any aftermarket parts on there.

Woah, those pictures paint the situation real well. I'm glad to hear no mortal wounds and hope a steady recovery for you both.

The car on the other hand she gone for sure ouch

ichitaka05 10-31-2011 03:38 AM

Damn~~~! Hope you & your bf get better.

Hopefully everything get covered (plus some).

Get payyypurrrr.

Good to see you're all okay. Hope the best for you all.

WingsofWar 10-31-2011 03:49 AM

oh noes!! your going to feel some hurt for a good while with rear end accidents. I hope your recovery goes well though. Might I suggest doing light stretching everyday to keep any damage down. and see a Chiropractor if your still having pains 2 months from now.

Sorry to hear about the car, and retarded drivers.

switchlanez 10-31-2011 04:13 AM

That sucks. +1 on the chiro visits. Good to see the crumple zones worked to save you guys. In case you didn't know, you are legally entitled to go to repair shop(s) of your choice for higher quotes! Don't always trust your adjuster's quote because the shop that's evaluating it may unintentionally (or intentionally) overlook items that need repair. Could make the quote just shy of deeming it a salvage so the shop gets a job out of it.

This happened to a relative. After their car was "repaired," issues came up later on down the line. Another more professional shop found the repair to be incomplete. The total spent on repairs from both shops exceeded the market value of the car but it remained a clean title.

Buggy51 10-31-2011 04:15 AM

>_< I hope you'll have a fast recovery (along with the fast processing of all paper work)

Glad to see you're okay though
