Another set of baked/black Headlights.

After doing the PlastiDip on my wheels last week, I felt a little more adventurous and decided to do my headlights. This is actually the forth set of headlights I do, 3 with prior Civic's and this once with my FR-S. I followed DarrenDriven's DIY on this just for practicality, so big thanks to him.

I blacked out everything with the exception of the high beam reflector and the ring around the projector using flat black premium paint.

That's real nice, looks very OEM'ish.:w00t: That's probably the way I'll do mine.

Looks great... THE ONLY concern I have about doing this is.. LONG term condensation intrusion.

Looks awesome!!

Do you just use the existing goo when re sealing them or do you add silicone gasket or something?

I would put a beed of silicon along the entire edge to make sure. Re-using the goo will not make a sure seal.

^ what I figured, thanks.

I bought silicon but after I was done I threw them back in the oven, re-heated the adhesive and sealed them. My car has been outside during the storm and no condensation thankfully.
