There seem to be *some* water-y components that constitute gasoline.
A small amount of h2o may spontaneously appear in a very abrupt phase change.
Mostly water doesn't hold water.

Hey old thread, but here's my recent experience with fuel economy:

I lost my 86 for a month for engine work at the dealer and got to drive a 2018 Corolla cvt during that time. I spent that month driving the corolla gently, staying in the eco range all but a small handful of times. Both cars happen to have the same fuel tank capacity and regardless of what the numbers on the dash said or how accurate they are, I drove the same number of days in the corolla than I do with my 86.

Now that is all city driving, and I know the 86 is a fuel sipper on the highway, the damn thing is below 8l/100km cruising at 140km/h. Set the cruise at 100 and it'll hang around 5.9.

That's pretty damn great.

With 200TW tires, a turbo, and 550cc injectors, I average 29-31mpg.

Trying to pinch pennies to pay off that turbo?
