Make your own paper 86 ...

Way too much effort for me but good luck to anyone who wants to make their own cardboard cut-out-and-fold Toyota 86!

I tried this once when i was goofing off during newspaper class in high school. After a while I said fuck it and turned it into an amorphous blog of staples and scotch tape.

That was an attempt at an xB.

I'm doing this.

Newspaper class?!

hippari 10-25-2012 11:53 PM

lol I was on my high school newspaper. I found out the class exempted me from like 2 hours of actual school a day as long as I wrote a 200 word article once a week for the paper.

Lots of time for origami and paper crafts. =p

Haha nice! I did a 'Young Enterprise' project once after finding out that I'd get out of cross-country running once a week. Professional shirking for the win.

This looks really cool but I can imagine pretty difficult

Especially with the instructions being in Japanese. I have heard from a couple of people that have done it though. Trying to get photos out of them but nothing yet.

I guess you can also open the PDF in Photoshop and change the hue if you want to change the colour!

Does anyone wanna take this red FRS and convert it to white? I only have a black and white printer.

hippari 10-26-2012 03:42 AM

Guess you'll be making an argento fr-s. lol

I tried editing the pdf with photoshop, but it said it was password protected or something. I spent 7 minutes cutting out a fender. this will be a while.

Anyone who wants to do this needs to print on thichkish cardstock, have some tweezers, an exacto knife (i'm trying with some super sharp, brand new titanium scissors and it's still a PITA) and a precise glue thingy.

Tt3Sheppard 10-26-2012 10:44 AM

I'm going to order these and print at office max lol
