Hurricane

Where do you guys plan on hiding your baby in case this storm hits?

No garage for me so just going to cross my fingers :|

Josh, depending on the timing of the storm, you could always find a BestBuy or some other store that has an underground parking lot (if there's any place like that around Westport) and hide it there for a while...just don't leave it overnight.

I would second the parking garage, fortunately I have a garage and live at the top of a large hill so I don't need to worry about flooding or tree damage. However if I didn't have these things I would definitely park in a parking garage, ether Logan Airport's overnight garage or one of the many hotel parking garages around Boston. Screw the cost, $60 in parking fee's is well worth saving a $31,000 car from damage.

I have neither around here, no garage or parking garage. I guess if they are predicting hail I can always drive to my parents house about 15 minutes away and park it in their garage.

May be a bit late to order one now, but I've seen padded car covers..

Well if this does happen on monday afternoon I will be in Lincoln RI for my job during the day in a large parking lot. As for hail I'm just going to cross my fingers. Lets just hope this blows over and I'm not stuck walking to work haha.

There's a hurricane coming?

I wonder if it will be like that last wimpy hurricane that came by. I swear I saw thunderstorms more severe than that one.

Tt3Sheppard 10-25-2012 02:42 PM

haha go to foxnews.com..such a ridiculous headline for it.

Hurricanes always weaken so much by the time they get here, I wouldn't worry too much. Just don't park it near any trees and you should be fine.

I second that. I wouldn't worry.

I didn't even think of Logan. Good tip for those that live in or around the city that have to street park and want to protect their cars.

Looks like it's going to be south of us anyways

White64Goat 10-26-2012 12:32 PM

From watching the weather last night I don't think they're really going to know where it's headed until Monday. They were giving percentages like a bookie of where it "might" go. It's a crap shoot right now. But, always plan ahead. DON'T park underground!!! in case it does rain it's ass off and the un derground floods.
