The design looks great. I am very impressed with the way it tucks in and is discrete. Keeping the bottom tray on and not interfering with other parts shows that care was put into the design. How easy is it for the kit to be installed.

Can I do it myself? (I dont trust anyone else - too many bozo's out there)

Mechanically it seems straight forward, but there may be parts of the install that need special tools etc that I am not aware of (i.e. mechanical oil pump).

Will it run with the stock ECU?

I have not read on how the software works yet and whats required so at worst case I would need to drive from the workshop to the tuners, best case I load it up myself and use it that way before getting to the tuners.

Sorry for the simple questions, but I have not ever used an aftermarket turbo kit so its a bit new to me.

You can do it yourself if you're confident in doing mechanical work.
Will be easy for some, difficult for others. Depends on how good you are at swinging spanners.
Tools needed:
Full set of metric sockets and wrenches, Large and small sized plus and minus head screwdrivers, Hydraulic floor jack, Floor stands or a lift, High temperature Silicone sealant, WD-40 or similar, Oil filter, crush washer, engine oil, Rivnut tool, Stepped drill bit and drill.

It will not run with an unmodified stock ECU.

You need to purchase a licence from an EcuTek dealer and either buy or borrow an EcuTek cable to flash the AVO tune onto your ECU. There are tuners who have access to the AVO tunes if you want your tune modified.

Thankyou

Rivnut tool is the only thing I don't have - otherwise sound like a job to do myself.

dont need the rivnut tool I just drilled the holes out and got an exhaust shop to tack weld the fittings into the crash bar really easy job

Helped install the first AVO kit last weekend. It took a full day.
What a big difference it makes to the car. It now pulls hard from down low.

I've dropped the price to $4,200. The EcuTek licence will be $450 or you can source your own.
