Any news on 5x114.3 front hubs for BRZ/FRS yet?

It's been a couple months since I've complained about this, so I figure it about time I brought up the topic again.

I'm still waiting on some aftermarket company to make a set of front hubs in a 5x114.3 bolt pattern.. Or if someone smart and ingenious can figure out how to find another existing car's hub that would be swappable... that would be awesome as well.

Yes, Yes.. i know.. there are lots of 5x100 options now and they are getting more and more prevalent.. But I still want 5x114.3.

Has anyone seen or heard anything recently????

If it really bugs you that much, pony up the money and have some made. Spending the money on some different hubs, and then the money on the wheels you want to get, ain't within the budget of most. So most vendors/manufacturers won't throw money on niche markets.

If you really want it, start making some calls to machine/speed shops that might be able to tackle the task and get some quotes. Complaining behind a keyboard ain't doing much.

I disagree... Making it known publically that there is demand for a product should help motivate the aftermarket to produce the product.

The guys who own Legacys, WRXs, Forresters have been looking and asking for years. Still no real options yet. There have been some the swapped in a 05+ STI running gear, but hardly the most efficient way of getting 5X114.3. How much are you looking to spend?

Apparently the subaru Tribeca has 5x114 bolt hubs. someone should see if the front hubs work from that.

the 08+ sti hubs were confirmed not to fit in the front?

I would think $250 per side would be a fair price.. Then you could get STI rears for around $120 each.. So you might be in the neighborhood of $750 total.

I would pay that since I have a set of Gram Lights in my basement that I'm wishing I could mount on the car.

I'd pay $750 RIGHT NOW to get 5x114 hubs, no question

On another forum, we had someone make centerlock hubs, and the price came out to 220€ each and then overseas shipping on top of that.

Yeah they are, but by the time you got the centerlocks, and then centerlock wheels, you are probably close to $6K and then you need tires.

^this is true.

back on topic for 5x114 frs/brz tribeca hubs anyone?

in all honesty, the cost to do a conversion and then buy 5x114 wheels would be close to, if not more than buying custom offset 5x100 wheels... just saying.

Dreaming.

The 5x100 - 5 x 114.3 conversion spacers are the only financially reasonable option out there..but they add 15mm to your hub face, so all the excellent offset wheels out there won't fit anyway, so, we're back to needed custom offset wheels...

Stick with the 5 x 100

There are plenty of wheels coming out in 5x100 for this car, don't worry.

Look what happened over the last 7 years with 4x100 because of how popular miatas became.
