track car by vin number??
 

Dealership just called and gave me a VIN number. Is there a way I can track the cars location with the VIN?

All i know is its on the boat. :thumbsup:

Click on Inventory Search, enter the zipcode of the dealer and see if you can narrow the selection down your car / options. The VIN will be under the detail of each car.

I don't know of a better way to look at this but you can at least see what the expected available date is

How do you search for a Scion on a Toyota website? I don't even see an FR-S listed anywhere on that site you linked...

If you mean...like...GPS tracking, in real-time, showing your car slowly moving across the ocean, then no.

When you select the zip code you should get a circle of cars and the one on the right is Scion and then you get a new circle and you will see the FR-S in the same position.

It isn't the best website but it is the only one I know to use.

I recieved my VIN on September 25th and now I have a delivery date on or before November 5th. The Subaru dealership said it will probably be here a little before...and there is no way of tracking if the vehicle is ordered for you,...Scion has their inventory listed online with the last 4 digits of the VIN that you can check....just go to your local Scion dealership website build your car then find and it will give you the option to see what is coming in and delivery date...

Yea the inventory thing only works in the southeast.

You can track the car if you have the vessel name, my dealer sent me the VIN and vessel name and i was able to track it here http://shipfinder.co
