Products and vendor reviews section?
I was shopping for a sway bar to my Cooper S. Have not been into any Mini forums so did not know where to look for information and products. But I came across a genius section on a forum. (North American motoring)
I could find reviews, I could find available parts, where to buy them, etc... I could also find vendors reviews. Very useful too! The "FT86" will be huge on modding. A product/review/database thingy like that would be extremely useful! Here is one picture from the system. Would be really nice to have something like that on this forum if possible! :) http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...ps005a547d.jpg |
That's gonna be one hellova project...

But if there is a supported template for that stuff, it would not have to be that much work. "Just" make a side-forum for reviews with the rating stuff and that. The work of adding products would be done by vendors and users.. |
Hm... Still not sure on this, but as a 86 fan, I'll look into it... but prob need A TON of help to make this happen.
Also if this do happened... Where in the forum section go to? |
Thanks!
Would be awesome to have something like that! But I understand if it would be too much work.. Im thinking it would be a "side-forum" since it had other features. You guys could link to it from the frontpage. Home-About- links - Forum- Reviews And also at the top of the the normal forum. An easy to see link, between "Subaru BRZ" and User CP"? Or maybe at the top in the header, on the right side of the "log in/user thingy" to have it more visible? |
We do have a reviews section... It's just not organized by part...
|
Yeah, but that cant compare the the type of review board im talking about. A board/system where you have ratings, average rating, where you see the price people paid, where you can buy the part from, and also check out the rating of the vendor you are considering to buy from. All based on easy accessible user feedback.
Not sure if these links are allowed but... I think the system on North American Motoring looks great. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...wcat.php/cat/1 Say you want a swaybar, decent number of options here, and many reviews. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...cat.php/cat/69 Reviews are short and precise. I think a system looking something like that could work great here! |
