Under panel to go between factory aero panels - cover exhaust and d-shaft?

Hey guys,

So how about a panel to go in between the factory under body panels in order to cover up the potential drag caused by the exhaust and driveshaft? Obviously it couldn't cover the catalytic converter without melting, but behind that perhaps? Thoughts? Anyone interested in one or in producing them?

It would definately need to be lined with heat resistant material... But it is a great idea. Hell, just plastic would be nice.

It would be fairly easy to fab something for that area but I wouldn't recommend it without some careful testing. I'd be worried that without any sort of venting to move at least some air over heat could build up to a dangerous level.

I feel the potential consequences would be high compared to the benefits. Although if whatever company did do some testing in some extreme conditions/weather I would feel a little more comfortable.
