I'm going to get that 1000 miles, soon.

This might be a boring area, but living down here definitely has its perks!

Whats your favorite fun-drive route? Post 'em up!

And PS, my baby got here.

SO EFFING JEALOUS that you have such roads so close!

Seriously. I've had mine a month, just got over 1k, and spent 900 of them just getting to the ~100 miles that were 'fun', but nothing close to that.

A couple miles from my house is a road called Catalina Highway. It goes from roughly 2,500 feet to over 9,000 feet in 27 miles. The road is two lane, beautifully surfaced and curves all the way to the top where the little village of Summerhaven is. Many of the curves involve switchbacks and it can be as exhilarating or as laid back as you want it to be. Summehaven, although small, is a great destination for lunch and an escape from our summer heat.

Any body ever planning on coming to or through Tucson I'd love to hook up with you and take the drive.

I missed my turn and ended up on 26 all the way to 800, and by then I was dying from the concentration haha.

Seriously, this car is a little monster!! I love it. There were a couple turns on that road that are basically downhill 180* turns, and I could feel the blood leaving my head from g forces.

I LOVE THIS CAR.

Also, a guy on a tractor pulling hay gave me a big grin and a thumbs up so that was cool.

edit:

Just wanted to clarify that I'm not crossing the yellow line, speeding, or powersliding around turns. i didn't even break the speed limit... wellll maybe the recommended speed posted on the little square below the yellow squiggle sigh, but I don't feel bad about that.
