Digital speedometer in base GT86?
 

Anyone know if this is possible or has seen a work around? The base model GT is quite hard to read and a digital one would be quite nice

I am so confused. You don't have a digital speedo?

In Australia, the 86 GT only has the analogue speedo. Some people have found it hard to read, but I personally have no problems with it. You should know your speed by revs and feel alone.

Perhaps you might wanna get a HUD to serve as a digital speedo

It's pretty much the same, without the small LCD screen in the middle of the REV to show your current speed:

Can't really find a pic, not many people want to show it, haha.

Is run on the canbus, the signals are there you just need the cluster.

I like how it doesn't have any tacky silver, and it doesn't have the huge out of place white dial.

If you paypal the cash I'm willing to ship you a US spec cluster at my cost (dealer retail) i wonder of you just swap in the part, will it work?

you could just do that with a 86 GTS cluster too then.. :)
