Can anyone recommend a good body shop?

Long story short - a woman in a rather large truck ran over the front driver's side corner of my car while I was parked at a Starbucks... It's going to need some work done and I don't have any experience with body shops in this area - mainly concerned about paint, as the last car I saw come out of a local body shop was two different colors because they couldn't get the metallic right. Had to go back three times and the shop ultimately painted the entire car because they couldn't get a match.

Cliffords Auto Body in Bremerton Wa (you asked...), they do a lot of custom Hot Rod and Muscle Car body work and restorations as well as collision repairs for everything else.

Ask for Cody, tell him Bernie sent you. They have experience in this field as well as have an extensive knowledge in the import scene.

Seriously, give them a call.

They've got one in Kent too, and Dave runs that one... or there's Auburn Way Autobody... He does most of my client's insurance work...

The guys at Polished Image in Tacoma told me to go to Paramount Centre in Fife. I'll be checking out Collision specialists and Paramount tomorrow.

Bodyworks Auto Rebuild in Bellevue. I've used them several times.... They're great about getting prices for you at cost and their painter is supreme.

I ended up taking it down to Paramount Centre in Fife. They are Toyota/Lexus/Scion certified for auto body work. I felt it was in good hands as most of the cars in their lot were luxury European (Audi, Porsche, Mercedes).

Preliminary damage assessment totaled a little over $3,000.

Sorry for the damage but, on the up side the clear coat on these cars suck,...so if they paint the whole vehicle you may come out better in the long run,...hope so,...

They'll just be blending into the hood and left door.

Got the car back today from Paramount Centre in Fife. They did an excellent job matching the paint and getting everything back in proper alignment. I noticed the tech was very lazy and didn't pay attention to details though - I had to point out a half dozen areas on the bumper that were scratched up.

One of the scratched areas, for example.

That should be a re-paint of the scratched areas. After all, that was why the car was in their shop in the first place; to repair damage.

I would still call it a great success, congratulations!
