My customer's friends pulled a practical joke on him, and stuck this Pikachu on his car, he wanted it removed.

Nice Job...have you heard of the Nanoskin AutoScruber? It will make your job alot easier, faster and remove more contaminates then a claybar. The BRZ that I just completed was decontaminated in like 10 minutes and was completely smooth and free of contamination.

Yes I have but I don't know about taking a machine to decon a vehicle. I'm looking into the SM Arnold Prep Towels that looks a bit more promising to me.

I have the 6" DA pad which I have a velcro hand strap and I can use it by hand or I can and sometimes do us my Griots 6" DA Polisher at a low speed (1-2 speed) to decon with no marring at all. The SM Arnold PT's are made by Nanoskin btw.

Was wondering why this car had exactly the same sticker as mine ...
Then I realized it is mine >""<
(By the way that sticker is a Mashmaro

Soo let see feebacks:
@Hamza
- was very nice, got lots of advise from him about maintaining the shine and preps for winter/snow
- was very patient with my car, especially looking & removing those scratches
@the JOB
- price is right
- very nice job in general; will have to check back again afterawhile =)

@Others
- I expect a big screen TV or a foosball table next time I visit =b
- plates in pictures: you can leave my last 3 characters open if you want ("X19")

how did you take off the decal? heat gun / plastic razor blade?

regarding the autoscrubber - its good, but for a nearly new black car I don't think I'd reach for it. for decon on these new cars I've been doing Iron X then pinnacle ultra poly clay

Hamza7 10-22-2012 04:16 PM

Yes heat gun + plastic razor blade. I'm actually going to do the iron x and the carpro clay block.

How do you normally wash your car?

Seems like quite a bit of swirling for a new car. Did the dealer do any "detailing" or washing?

Hamza7 10-26-2012 08:25 AM

I believe the dealer did wash the vehicle, the client didn't know of me sooner otherwise we wouldn't have had the dealer wash it. Anyways it's swirl free now.
