Rally Event

I wanted to let you all know about an Event that's starting in Portland Or. The event is called GreenLight America and it's a 3 day, 1500 mile rally race with a private track day as one of the checkpoints, plus many more stops along the way and ending up in Vegas. Just curious, but how do you keep from trashing the bumpers and underside of the car when you rally? I ask because I used to watch WRC and I definitely don't want to do that to my car.

Are the tracks mostly dirt and mud with very little gravel or is it pretty rocky?

All of the driving will be done on the roadway and the track day will be held at Reno Fernley raceway which is a road course. This is a road rally so no off road driving will be done during the course of the event.
