The Tigers just swept the Yanks and are going to the World Series. I am not a Tigers fan but I do follow them.

I couldn't help but to wonder about life paths. I grew up playing baseball, I was decent enough to be scouted by the White Sox. I remember getting a playoff game winning hit against now Tigers All-Star catcher Alex Avila. We ended up graduating from the same HS and becoming buddies. I quit ball and enlisted in the CG, he's now making millions.

Just one of those things you sit back with a beer and laugh.
