Very timely that you bring this up. Last night my buddy was waiting to meet up with me off a side street. I came around the corner in the dark and pulled up next to him, turning my headlights off as I parked beside him. He then mentioned that my BRZ looked kind of like an R8 (he's been keeping track of the BRZ longer than I have, mind you). No drugs were involved in the comment, I promise.

I thought that comment cool. Comparison pics would be cooler.

I think the LF-A has some similarities, but that's the only car I can think of that it resembles, to me.

Just in the "mustache", but that's about where the similarities end.

Audi has gone crazy with the 'troutmouth grille". They were good looking cars until they started to flaunt that piece.

R8? No.

The lip of the front bumper however does look almost exactly like the lip on the rest of the newer Audi line-up. I noticed it when I passed by an A5 in the parking lot. I guess with the mustache grill, it does look like an Audi, but not the R8.

Looks more like the P2.

Too bad the Audi R8 price doesn't look like the BRZ...THEN we'd have a thread...lol

I honestly mistook one for an LF-A the 1st time I saw an FR-S.
