It depends on the price and the explanation of the 79 miles on it. Why didn't they call you when it first arrived and had no miles on it since it was very similar to the car you ordered?

They trade it with STI from different dealer. Of course if they offer same price with options, then i am thinking to take it. My order has no options. But i dont need those option either.

Can't hurt to ask... The auto-dimming mirror is at least $200, the fender trim ~$100, wheel locks ~$65, bumper applique ~$89... I don't think they'll do it personally but give it a shot!

This pretty much happened to me and they were charging me a little over a grand more and I turned it down because I have might as well stepped up to a limited but I ended up getting a different car entirely. Depends on the price honestly.

So it seems that they had someone drive the car from the other dealer to this one, and then drive the STI back. Who knows if the guy beat on the car in that time frame, or if that dealer gave out test drives in it. I'd be concerned about how hard the engine was pushed.

This is a question you should answer. If you like the car and price by all mean take it. It's a brand new car, even if the engine was beaten on you have 5 years to get a new one for FREE. I bought mine with 600 miles, don't overthink ;)

chrome fender is a must have for me, looks too plain otherwise

this is the what i concerned most. though second though, it's only 79 miles so Warranty would cover whatever happens.

I will go tomorrow morning to check it out and test drive as well if they let me.
I test drove both FR-S and BRZ but i don't hear damm bad sound from them since i am not very familiar with d/i engine.

I might have to wait until December or next year if i don't take it.

any other opinion or comments?

when I sold cars I would run the DX all the time. I personally never beat the piss out of the cars in the exchange and a lot of times it's a sales person or a little old guy they use for title runs. So if they say milage is from dealer exchange I wouldn't sweat it. But test drive is a different story ;)
but at least you know that one didn't throw a cel in the first 70 miles <~jealous

they will charge you for the extra options so if you don't want em, wait it out for the one you want, (i hate my auto dim mirror I'm short and I fight with it. Should have kept stock 1, flip it and forget about it)

either way GL and enjoy!

it's got 79 miles! how were those miles driven? was the car "beat"?
it could have been "redlined" and high revs in all gears! if it was me,i would
say no! i don't want to buy "damaged" equipment!
