Just got the heads up from a buddy about a good deal on a bluetooth OBD scanner and the Android Torque app.

If you're using it on a MacBook, I would suggest getting the USB version. Faster polling of the parameters.

That is a good price on bluetooth adapter, but personally I'd spend a couple more bucks to get this one. More review history and smaller form factor which is important given the ridiculous positioning of our OBDII connection.

Just an FYI, I love Newegg, but I picked up the same mini ELM327 adapter off Ebay for like 5 bucks.
