This is a picture of a wing on my car to show what the wing looks like. If I was selling the wing that was already installed on a car, it would not be a new wing would it?

So no, the wing I am selling has never been installed, just as the post says.

So either that photo is Photoshopped, which it isn't, or you bought two wings, installed one, and decided to sell the other for $150 less than what it sells for new. Even though is new and unopened. That makes perfect sense.

Why don't you post up a picture of the actual item for sale, instead of a picture of your car.

Because posting a picture of something in packaging doesn't show much whereas posting a picture of something already on a car actually shows what it looks like.

New means new. I don't know what the point of this whole thing is, did I offend you in some way or another by posting a picture of a wing on a car?

Obviously if he said that the wing he's selling is brand new and unopened, that would imply that he has more than one wing. If you're so skeptical that someone would have multiple products to sell, move along and ignore the post that apparently bothers you so much

I'm not offended, I just don't understand the avoidance of posting a photo of the actual item for sale.

I honestly don't understand the issue right here? The item is a wing. The wing is shown on a car to showcase how it would look like on a car. There are two places with a note in bold saying that it is brand new and still wrapped up.

Would it make you feel better if I posted a picture of packaging?

who said he's avoiding it? it only makes sense to show a picture of the wing on the car so you can see what it might look like on yours. Last I checked, the seller is free to post whatever type of picture of the item that she deems most informative for the buyer.

I'm sure if you politely requested to see the image without giving attitude, the seller would work with you, right? You're not obligated to purchase anything so don't instigate and undermine a perfectly normal seller's post. Hopefully this provides you with the enlightenment that you so obviously lack.

Forum rules state all FS threads have a picture of the item with a piece of paper showing user name ft86club.com and the date. This doesn't get enforced much in this thread since most of the deals are local. If things become a problem mods can be alerted and hella posts could end up deleted should a pattern occur. Unfortunately scammers exist so rules exist to try and put checks in place to protect people.

If there is a problem or you feel there is a legit issue with a post use the report button and let a mod decide. Otherwise lets keep the comments to a minimum as it derails the thread and never gets us anywhere unfortunately.
