info on back of key?
 

the little sticker with codes on the back of our keys. what are they? i do valet and want to swap with a rental Toyota key cover, but i don't know if that code has any info on my car

Dunno. But you can go to the parts dept. of any Toyota dealership and get one for about $12, or order one off Ebay for like $5. Really... is this a part that's worth stealing?

It's just a compliance code and a registration code in the FCC it has no info on your car like a VIN.

It's also not worth stealing especially when putting your job on the line...

No i would just b swapping the cases. Free case for me and a very confused rental company (i like confusing ppl) , i would never mess with some1s personal items, thats just wrong

Rental company gets an almost new piece while OP gets a "heavily soiled with various bodily secretions" used one. Sounds fair to me.

well i guess its a good thing i have 2 keys then. my 2nd key has never been used
