BRZ expected to be at LA Auto Show

...well according to Motor Authority's recent post on October 10th, they stated:

"Full details on the Subaru BRZ are expected to come in just about a month's time at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, where the car is set to make its official debut before entering production next spring."

To me, this would seem kind of odd that Subaru would made its world debut in the U.S. Maybe they're expecting to market this car more in the U.S. I was expecting them to wait until the Tokyo Auto Show, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

That's what im assuming. Why would a Japanese company debut its sports car in the U.S.? Unless Subaru wants to get a head start on marketing their car in the U.S. before Toyota/Scion.

But then again, you(ichi) would probably know more than i do. lol

They already stated that not a single production panel would be showed until Tokyo Auto Show

^ i agree with you quik1987, but after finding the article stating it being shown at TAS i noticed it was written by the same publisher. So, either someone messed up with the info/source or they've gotten an update with the appearance.

Here's what i mean:

In this article (link below), you'll see they've stated:
"Look out for the respective debuts of both the Subaru BRZ and its Scion FR-S sibling at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show this December."

The article I found (First Post), is a more recent article, same publisher, BUT different *writer. So, that's probably where they spoofed up. Idk, it all just seems odd.

Just keep word on what the Japanese guy said. It will debut in TAS and a non-production version in the U.S

Motor Authority just wants people to pay attention to them. Lol
